Why This Programme Exists

When I began teaching cosmetic acupuncture nearly two decades ago, I noticed a significant gap in professional training.

In the UK, those wishing to practise acupuncture traditionally need to undertake degree-level training covering a very broad scope of practice. While these programmes are invaluable, many devote relatively little time to cosmetic acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, skin health, fascia-based approaches or the practical realities of building a cosmetic acupuncture clinic.

The alternative has often been a short cosmetic acupuncture course. While these can introduce useful techniques, they are usually designed for practitioners who already possess extensive acupuncture knowledge and clinical experience.

For many students, neither route fully addresses their needs.

The Acuregen Certificate Diploma was created to bridge that gap.

This is a purpose-built training pathway designed specifically for practitioners who wish to work within cosmetic acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, wellness and skin health.

It combines structured online study, supervised clinical training, mentorship and ongoing support to develop genuine competence and confidence rather than simply teaching isolated techniques.

What makes this programme particularly unique is the depth of training in areas that are frequently overlooked elsewhere.

Auricular acupuncture forms a central part of the Foundation Programme because, in my clinical experience, it is one of the most powerful tools available when working with the face. Yet many practitioners receive only limited exposure to this subject during their training.

Likewise, practitioners coming from medical aesthetics, dry needling, Western acupuncture or anatomy-based backgrounds often tell me they finally understand how constitutional treatment, syndrome differentiation, body acupuncture points and auricular strategies fit together to create a more complete treatment approach.

The result is a training experience that goes far beyond learning where to place needles.

You learn how to create individualised treatments.

And ultimately, you learn how to become a confident cosmetic acupuncture practitioner with the support of a mentor who has dedicated much of her career to advancing this field.

MORE ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

This is the only training programme to ensure that those with a limited or no prior knowledge of acupuncture can achieve competency, confidence and enter the acupuncture profession without needing to undertake a degree-level training. You will be learning a limited scope of practice for wellness, beauty and skin health.

• You will learn how to acupuncture and how to work with fascia on the face,
• 30-40 body acupuncture points,
• Advanced auricular acupuncture,
• How to integrate other modalities as required by individualised treatments
• How to create and formulate a safe and effective treatment,
• Consultation processes, marketing and much much more.

Please understand that a short weekend course with half a day of needling skills IS NOT ENOUGH. You will be attending 10 days of supervised training and fully supported with more if necessary.

This programme will take you at least 3-4 months to complete.

This package (developed over 18 years) includes everything you need to reach your goals. 4+ online modules and the 10 days of clinical classes which are spread in sections of 4 days Foundation focussing on ear and body points, 4 days of Signature cosmetic acupuncture, building on what you have learnt before. Finally 2 days of Masterclass where you will fine-tune your techniques.
