Welcome to Signature Part 1: The Foundation of the Acuregen Method

Every great practitioner needs strong foundations.

Signature Part 1 is the first module within our Signature Elite Programme and the starting point for practitioners who wish to learn the Acuregen Method in a structured, evidence-informed and clinically relevant way.

It is also the core online component of our popular Quick Start Programme, allowing students to begin their studies immediately and arrive at practical training with a clear understanding of the principles, protocols and methodology that underpin our work.

This is far more than a cosmetic acupuncture course.

It is an introduction to a way of thinking.

Over more than twenty years of clinical practice, international teaching and continual refinement, I have developed the Acuregen Method to bridge the gap between traditional acupuncture theory, modern understanding of fascia, dermatology, ageing science and the realities of clinical practice.

The result is a system that helps practitioners move beyond simply following protocols and towards understanding why treatments work, how to individualise them and how to achieve more consistent outcomes.

Within this first module you will begin to understand the principles that sit beneath every treatment we teach.

You will explore constitutional support, homeostasis, facial assessment, body and auricular protocols, treatment planning, materials, safety considerations and the key concepts that prepare you for practical training.

One of the questions I am asked most often is:

"Why do I need to study online before attending the workshop?"

The answer is simple.

When we meet face-to-face, I do not want to spend valuable time delivering lectures.

I want to teach.

I want to demonstrate.

I want to answer your questions.

I want to watch you work.

I want to help you refine your technique.

This is Part 1 - 16 Hours online, study at your own pace

Everything you need to know about the state-of-the-art Acuregen Method of Cosmetic Acupuncture and Collagen Induction Therapy for the face and body.

This new comprehensive 30-hour live online bundle of 2 modules will give you the theory and background and every angle of our materials and methodology. This includes advanced medical microneedling and special fascia techniques. You are encouraged to make the most of our interactive live Zoom Sessions every week.

What Will I Learn?

A comprehensive, advanced cosmetic facial acupuncture course covering all aspects of theory, different materials and methodology for the Acuregen Method.

This course will also explore the connection between TCM and scientific concepts for the cause and resolution of beauty and skin concerns. Constitutional and facial protocols in detail.

In Part 1

Learn the Core Principles of the Acuregen Method. We give you the in a nutshell on mechanisms of aging and how to integrate with the wider beauty treatments that clients will want you to advise them on.

The strategies behind the key protocols and we cover all the special concerns. You will learn about the materials we use and this includes our approach to microneedling

In Part 2

We cover the Integration of acupuncture with other beauty methods and trending technologies such as LED Light Therapy will be explored for their effectiveness within the scope of practice of a licenced acupuncturist, also when it is appropriate to refer. A different approach to microneedling, gua sha, cupping and other strategies to ‘release’ and ‘wind-up ‘facial fascia’ will be covered.

Goals & Objectives

Part 1 - This Module

Obtain a clear understanding of the relationship between TCM and a scientific approach to the causes of ageing.

Be knowledgeable on options for clients from treatment and consultation perspectives.

To gain a good foundation of the methods, materials and integration of other modalities within scope of practice ready for the guided clinical module

PART 2 - Next Module

Establish a more detailed understanding of how and why we can consider integrating other therapies with a different approach usage of LED Light Therapy, Gua Sha options, cupping, taping, tuning forks and exercises for home support.

Know how to treat and plan a wide variety of scenarios from express to deluxe treatments with case study illustrations of outcomes and how to overcome a range of issues during a programme of treatment.

How to approach inflammatory dermatology problems with a special focus on active acne and residual scarring.

Confident consultation process/red flags and presenting a treatment to a client, planning a treatment using audit templates and methods and advice on pre and post care strategies.

Who Can Attend?

Licensed Acupuncturists ideally with a Traditional Training.

Western-trained acupuncturists or those with confident experience with Microsystems Auricular Acupuncture are accepted but may wish to attend all or part of our Foundation online Course which covers TCM in context with beauty and skin.
