What Will I Learn?

A comprehensive, advanced cosmetic facial acupuncture course covering all aspects of theory, different materials and methodology for the Acuregen Method.

This course will also explore the connection between TCM and scientific concepts for the cause and resolution of beauty and skin concerns. Constitutional and facial protocols in detail.

In Part 2

We cover the Integration of acupuncture with other beauty methods and trending technologies such as LED Light Therapy will be explored for their effectiveness within the scope of practice of a licenced acupuncturist, also when it is appropriate to refer. A different approach to microneedling, gua sha, cupping and other strategies to ‘release’ and ‘wind-up ‘facial fascia’ will be covered.

Goals & Objectives

Part 1 - This Module

Obtain a clear understanding of the relationship between TCM and a scientific approach to the causes of ageing.

Be knowledgeable on options for clients from treatment and consultation perspectives.

To gain a good foundation of the methods, materials and integration of other modalities within scope of practice ready for the guided clinical module

PART 2 - Next Module

Establish a more detailed understanding of how and why we can consider integrating other therapies with a different approach usage of LED Light Therapy, Gua Sha options, cupping, taping, tuning forks and exercises for home support.

Know how to treat and plan a wide variety of scenarios from express to deluxe treatments with case study illustrations of outcomes and how to overcome a range of issues during a programme of treatment.

How to approach inflammatory dermatology problems with a special focus on active acne and residual scarring.

Confident consultation process/red flags and presenting a treatment to a client, planning a treatment using audit templates and methods and advice on pre and post care strategies.

Who Can Attend?

Licensed Acupuncturists ideally with a Traditional Training.

Western-trained acupuncturists or those with confident experience with Microsystems Auricular Acupuncture are accepted but may wish to attend all or part of our Foundation online Course which covers TCM in context with beauty and skin.
